Hey! I'm Sophie, a commercial photographer based in West Yorkshire with over a decade of experience shooting food, product, beauty and lifestyle.
Working with me, you can expect a straightforward approach, honest feedback and a healthy dose of Northern warmth.
Over the years, I've worked on some ace projects, everything from independent brands to large-scale global campaigns and I know that the best work starts long before anyone picks up a camera. I'm big on planning, particular about the details and always up for a good idea.
I love what I do, and I'd like to think that comes across in both the work I produce and the way I work with people. For me, a successful shoot is as much about the people and the process as it is about the finished images.
I know what I'm doing, I care about getting it right, and I reckon we should have a laugh while we do it.

After a stint in the big city life, I’ve set my roots back down in my hometown of Huddersfield.
I’ve got a studio space, big enough for small scale production of product, food and beauty photography. It’s the perfect set up for a remote shoot.
I have heaps of experience in product and food styling so I really can be a one woman band if you need me to be. But if the brief is outside of my scope, I have a great network of freelancers that I work with regularly and so if I can’t do it, I’ll know someone who can.
We’ll plan a brief so that you know the shots before I even take them. You send the products in the post. I shoot them while keeping you updated and we can make live changes without you having to leave the comfort of your office (or even better, your comfy WFH set up).

At the point of writing this, it’s taken me nearly two years to finish updating my website and I last posted on Instagram around six months ago.
